(1) FACC Money
(2) ArtBash
(3) Recruiting
(4) DMA Space
(1) The final meeting with the BOCC went well. Now we just have to wait for our SAR to be approved online. The next meeting we will discuss how to divide the purchasing, especially for the big ticket items.
(2) As for ArtBash, we need to prepare different t-shirt designs to print for sale during the event. I think the best course of action would definitely be to use used shirts (Salvation Army has ridiculously inexpensive used shirts, so we could get a range of sizes, styles, and colors). Brian is planning on doing custom block people, probably with an upper limit of the number of people he can make (the amount of time to do each person, the frequency of 3D printing). We need to do some advertising so that we get more traffic in the DMA area, so posters and maybe projected ads at night. Keychain designs also need to be solidified so that we can print them out as soon as we get the plexi.
(3) In order to draw more people to DAMN, a couple of activities have been suggested:
- More weekly projects, like a small scale video project that we only worry about when we are in meetings
- Tutorials, even small stuff - anything useful to know in our medium
- Table sitting in the Colonade at the Reitz
- More posters around campus to draw people outside of art
- Outside activities, like mini field trips, or group activities (bowling, skating, laser tag, etc)
- Off campus meetings
- Z-Day, to infect other people
- Marathons of tv shows, game playing days
(4) Also, we need to make the DMA space look really awesome, importantly for ArtBash, but just for general everyday meetings as well. This will make us look serious about what we are doing.
